Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, peanut butter, and unsweetened cocoa powder
In a saucepan, heat the milk, granulated sugar, and unsalted butter over medium heat
Bring to a boil and let it cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract
Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix well until everything is combined
Add the shredded coconut and chopped nuts to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper or a baking sheet, forming cookies of your desired size
Let the cookies cool and set at room temperature for about 30 minutes or until firm
