Barbecue Pickled Ginger Burgers



A tasty change from the usual burger is these Barbecue Pickled Ginger Burgers. When you put together tangy pickled ginger, savory barbecue sauce, and juicy beef patties, the flavors are out of this world. Great for your next cookout or barbecue!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup pickled ginger, chopped
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onion
  • Pickled ginger slices

Instructions:

Put the breadcrumbs, pickled ginger, barbecue sauce, ground beef, finely diced red onion, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl

Combine the parts until they are well mixed

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up your grill or barbecue over medium-high heat

Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them

On the grill, toast the buns for one minute, or until they get a little brown

To make the burgers, put a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun and then a burger patty on top of it

You can put tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickled ginger slices on top of each patty

If you want, you can put barbecue sauce on top of the pickled ginger slices

To finish the burger, put the top half of the bun on top
