These snowflake cupcakes are a delightful winter treat, perfect for holiday parties and snowy days. The combination of vanilla cake and blue frosting creates a charming snowy scene, and the silver glitter adds a touch of magic.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white buttercream frosting
  • Blue food coloring
  • Silver edible glitter
  • Snowflake-shaped cake toppers

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners

In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water

Mix until well combined

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean

Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack

While the cupcakes are cooling, tint the white buttercream frosting with blue food coloring to achieve the desired shade of blue for your snowflake theme

Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with the blue frosting using a piping bag or spatula

Sprinkle silver edible glitter on top of the frosting to create a snowy effect

Finally, top each cupcake with a snowflake-shaped cake topper for the finishing touch
